1 -3 hour sessions which give students the confidence and practical tools required for creating their own theatre. These workshops differ from the performance workshops in that the students are on their feet, working practically from the start. These workshops can be opened up to both GCSE and A-Level students.
Students will be familiarised with the working methods and performance styles of a number of practitioners and related play texts. Students will be encouraged to share ideas whilst watching and learning from each other. We use flip charts with detailed notes and sentences to use in exams, alongside improvisation, mask, chorus, ensemble, text, tableaux, voice and physical work.
